As a UX Designer I was able to bridge the gap between big data analytics and the end user. Wavicle had access to very large data sets that allowed me to create more robust solutions for our users through analyzing these enormous data sets.

Mapping the Journey

Mapping out the Journey of Molex employees was a very valuable step in helping our team identify processes along with being able to discover current friction points in their procurement process. My findings helped accelerate our workflow by ensuring that my team of data engineers, analysts and Molex were all on the same page.

First Iteration

While gathering business requirements I began to devise conceptual ways to meet the needs the users while simultaneously considering the limitations of the business. These initial sketches were valuable in getting conversations started regarding what the user interface and information architecture would start to look like.

The Plan

Phase 1: Final Iteration

After getting a deeper understanding of both the user needs and business requirements I was able to bridge the gap between big data and user experience to deliver a product that is dynamic and effective.

Accessibility

I teamed up with my data visualization team in order to identify areas that needed accessibility concerns addressed. My solutions allowed ease of use by many users and is inclusive.
